Delta Discovery Park (DDP) was founded by the late Mayor Democrito "Boy Daku" D. Plaza II as a protected Eco park in 2005, with his aim to boost
the city's tourism activity. The natural spring water pool was opened to public in the year 2007 together with an aviary and plant
nursery. In 2011, Delta Discovery Park opened its new attraction the 400 meter zip line and its most thrilling 1.3 Kilometer zip line making in the
longest single zip line in Mindanao and Asia. The management will soon start to open more outdoor attractions with its mission to
make Butuan's mark in the tourism industry. Delta Discovery Park is owned and managed by the DDPII Holdings Corporation.
